For the first time ever, the Whole Hog Barbecue Championship is divided into three separate competitions: Showmanship, Blind Taste, and On-Site/Culinary. Competitors will have the opportunity to participate in and win all three, for a chance to win $3,500. In past years, the Blind Taste and On-Site scores have been combined to name the overall winner. This year, the competitions will be separate, with the On-Site/Culinary Competition winner being named the Whole Hog Barbecue Champion.
