Elizabethtown Pork & Beats Festival

November 5 - 6, 2021 Cape Fear Farmer's Market Elizabethtown

Join us in The Town of Elizabethtown at the Cape Fear Farmer’s Market for the 4th Annual Pork & Beats Festival. Up to twenty-five (25) teams will compete for cash prizes and trophies in this whole hog event, sanctioned by the North Carolina Pork Council.
Entry fee will be $100 per team.

Prizes:
Whole Hog Competition

  • 1st Place: $1,000
  • 2nd Place: $750
  • 3rd Place: $500

Blind Judging Competition

  • 1st Place: $500
  • 2nd Place: $300
  • 3rd Place: $100

After the judges complete the judging, the pork will be chopped and prepared for the barbecue plates that start selling at 10:00 am. The plates consist of chopped pork, baked beans, slaw and bread.
Our festival attendees are in for a great time on Friday night with a variety of food trucks and music by the Country Grass Band, and then on Saturday we will have children’s activities, crafts, vendors, food trucks and music by the Black Water Rhythm and Blues Band!
