Hollerin’ Heritage Festival BBQ Cook-Off

Make your way to Spivey’s Corner, “The Hollerin’ Capital of the World,” & home of the National Hollerin’ Contest for the 3^rd Annual Hollerin’ Heritage Festival. Each year we revive the “almost lost art” of Hollerin’ and seek to preserve our distinct heritage. Last year’s North Carolina Pork Council sanctioned BBQ cook-off was a huge success; twelve teams from across the state participated!

Please join us for a fun filled day that will include live music, great food, antique farm equipment displays & demonstrations, living history exhibits, a classic car show, a kid’s entertainment zone, vendors, and the 46th Annual National Hollerin’ Contest.

Lawn chairs, blankets & and “sunbrellas” are welcome. No coolers please.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Spivey’s Corner Volunteer Fire Department.

Limit: 15 cookers; Entry Fee: $100.00
