1st annual American Legion Post 116 Whole Hog and Pork Shoulder Cook off. The Whole Hog Cook-off is NCPC-sanctioned. The pork shoulder portion of the event is is for the blind taste and people’s choice awards only.
SANCTIONING NOTE: The pork shoulder can be cooked on the same grill, but cannot touch the whole hog in any way.
ENTRY FEE INCLUDES:
-1 PREPARED 100-125 lbs. HOG ( NC PORK COUNCIL JUDGING)
-1 15-18 lbs. PORK SHOULDER (BLIND TASTE DIVISION & PEOPLES CHOICE COMPETITION)
-1 OUTSIDE SPACE APPROXIMATELY 20’x20’
-2 FREE PLATES OF BBQ

ENTRY FEE FOR COMPETITION IS $150 (WE ARE A 501C VETERANS ORGANIZATION AND WILL PROVIDE TAX LETTER IF REQUESTED)
