18th Annual Smoke on the Water Festival

The smell of downeast barbecue will fill the air along the waterfront in Historic Downtown Washington on Saturday, October 17th for the 18th Annual Smoke on the Water festival. This service project of the Washington Noon Rotary gives all proceeds back to local non-profit groups to help the community.

Stroll along the quaint waterfront and enjoy the chili cookoff, live music, dragon boat races, Boy Scout demonstrations, car show, fire engine pull, ducky race, the Beaufort County Arts Council’s Fine Art Show and mouthwatering barbecue from the state’s top competitors.
