Join us in The Town of Elizabethtown at the Cape Fear Farmer’s Market for the 3rd Annual Pork & Beats Festival. Up to twenty teams will compete for cash prizes and trophies in this whole hog event, sanctioned by the North Carolina Pork Council.
Entry fee will be $75 per team.
1st Place – $1250 and a trophy
2nd Place – $750 and a trophy
3rd Place – $500 and a trophy
After the judging is complete, the pork will be chopped and prepared for the barbecue plates that start selling at 11:00 am. The plates consist of chopped pork, green beans, slaw and a roll.
Our festival attendees are in for a great time with children’s activities, crafts, vendors, food and music by the Black Water Rhythm and Blues Band!
