The smell of downeast barbecue will fill the air along the waterfront in Historic Downtown Washington on Saturday, October 18th for the 17th Annual Smoke on the Water festival. This service project of the Washington Noon Rotary gives all proceeds back to local non-profit groups to help the community.
Stroll along the quaint waterfront and enjoy the chili cookoff, live music, dragon boat races, Boy Scout demonstrations, car show, fire engine pull, ducky race, the Beaufort County Arts Council’s Fine Art Show and mouthwatering barbecue from the state’s top competitors.
If you are interested in participating in Smoke on the Water as a vendor, cooker or sponsor, please contact Festival Chairperson Pam Anderson.
