The WHB State Championship will be held May 16-17, 2025 in Raleigh, NC during the Got To Be NC Festival at the State Fairgrounds!
ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility for this 2025’s Championship will include every team that qualified for the 2024 Championship and any teams that have qualified since Smoke on the Water in Washington.
Additionally, the four teams from the 2025 Barbecue Summit (Backyard Bubba, Wicked Pig, Mr. Curley’s Que Crew, Broadslab bbq) will receive free entry to the 2025 Championship. Those four teams do not need to use the registration form.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Entries are processed in the order they are received. Your registration is not complete until payment is made.
Each team will be allotted one space for cooking and a neighboring parking space. Other parking will be provided nearby for team members. The $200 entry fee must accompany entry form. Entry fee covers a 100-125 pound pig and related contest materials. Entry forms received without payment will not be processed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Cookoff Committee reserves the right to reject any application. If your application is not accepted, the $200 fee will be refunded. Once accepted, NO refunds will be made except in extenuating circumstances.
The Whole Hog Barbecue Championship, its employees, representatives and contractors shall not be responsible or liable for the property of any team, any loss, damage or injury occurring to any team, or its representatives. All property of the teams shall be under the care, custody and control of the team whether in transit to, from or within the Whole Hog Barbecue Championship.
